I've talked a lot about essential oils, but there's another type of oil we use in our products that's excellent for skin care: castor oil.

Castor oil is a humectant, which means it draws moisture from the air and puts it on your skin, the same way honey does. This type of oil also helps lock in the moisture so it stays on your skin, providing added moisture and a little bit of shine and sheen.

Not only does castor oil help moisturize the skin when it penetrates, it also boosts collagen production. This helps the skin become softer and smoother, and reduce wrinkles.
